I just finished the excerpt from your book as well and am on the edge of my seat wanting to know what will happen next with Clara and the mysterious Artur!

You have a truly beautiful way with words! I think that story telling and poetry are also medicinal and healing in their own right, especially when woven in with the plants! I am so inspired by your idea of including a healing poem with your tincture. So lovely!

Thank you for sharing a taste of your talents, I have so much enjoyed and been blessed by it! I loved your last line so much - every creative act is valuable because of the delight brought by the creation - that I have written it out and taped it on my wall :)

XOXO DAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3765060233389739578.post-67051683816918328462011-03-24T08:01:26.421-07:002011-03-24T08:01:26.421-07:00I love the 'Spring Colours' poem Sarah, I ...I love the 'Spring Colours' poem Sarah, I read it and remembered that first Spring day I came to visit you at the Sanctuary, the warm summer sunshine and the smell of mother earth and lots of herbal love!

Just like to add that I'm the proud owner of one of the handmade herb aprons in Sarah's photos, twas my Yule gift which has brought much joy and makes me feel like a green herbwife whenever I wear it :) Will email you soon flower...

Much love and many herby hugs - D xxxHerbaholichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18255986189398497786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3765060233389739578.post-58957444817247867522011-03-21T07:01:04.293-07:002011-03-21T07:01:04.293-07:00Hi Sarah,

The distant healing poem shall be copied and and put into my book of special things.
I also had no idea you had written a book and must, of course, purchase one! I will email you my address and if you could let me know how much the book is plus postage I'll send you a cheque if that suits.
And I can't wait to see your violet scarf! What a beautiful idea, I'm sure it will look wonderful.
Off now to read the excerpt from your story.
Thanks for such an inspired post. xLucindahttp://www.whisperingearth.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3765060233389739578.post-9182964663716985992011-03-21T03:42:51.227-07:002011-03-21T03:42:51.227-07:00Oh I love those healing words. What's fascinating is that Paul Simon took his version for Sounds of Silence from Martin Carthy in the 1960s. Martin is one of the elders of British folk music. He married Norma Waterson, who also comes from a long line of family singers & their daughter is Eliza Carthy who sings with them in Blue Muder and Waterson Carthy and has her own group, Eliza Carthy and the Ratcatchers. John Spiers used to play with the ratcatchers (we saw him and Eliza do some demon fiddling during his last gig with them at Bromyard folk festival a few years back) and now fronts Bellowhead, an award winning folk band in which our friend, Sam Sweeney, plays fiddle and bagpipes.Sarah Headhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08975928642943693605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3765060233389739578.post-57252695965650135662011-03-20T03:07:43.283-07:002011-03-20T03:07:43.283-07:00Thank you for a thought provoking post.
