I asked my friend what all the "roses" were. I love your city and state. We were over there last September to launch my Arthurian novel, The Strongest Magick. Not sure when we'll be back, but I live in hopes!Sarah Headhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08975928642943693605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3765060233389739578.post-78429973163725583782009-07-20T15:13:25.354-07:002009-07-20T15:13:25.354-07:00What a great post! I may try that rose vinegar since I just declared my homemade cider vinegar "done" :)Alysshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04820396354932192545noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3765060233389739578.post-5433671924491562452009-07-15T09:58:45.726-07:002009-07-15T09:58:45.726-07:00Hi Sarah

I can't thank you enough!lindahttp://rebelpigs.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3765060233389739578.post-19367760527979200572009-07-15T07:51:05.713-07:002009-07-15T07:51:05.713-07:00Hi Linda. You can find the recipe for rose water at http://www.herbsociety.org.uk/kh-hedgerow-to-kitchen-dog-rose.htm If you have access to fresh aloe vera leaves, I would cut those in half and place on the "burned" area as well. Once the heat has completely gone from the area, use a St John's wort and calendula salve maybe with a violet or marshmallow leaf oil added for increased moisture.Sarah Headhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08975928642943693605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3765060233389739578.post-15307978949709363032009-07-15T05:08:05.099-07:002009-07-15T05:08:05.099-07:00Hi Sarah

I don't have access to fresh unsprayed petals this year. I would like to try the recipe for burns on my daughters road rash which is very much like a first degree burn. This article helped me to determine what kind of roses to plant in my garden. Thanks so much!lindahttp://rebelpigs.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3765060233389739578.post-71070649627923725382009-07-13T10:17:49.237-07:002009-07-13T10:17:49.237-07:00This post was so lovely! If ever I go to England, I hope it is in summer when the roses are blooming.
I'm sorry to hear about the roses that were destroyed; if only we could make others understand.

Love,

MarquetaMarqueta (Mar-kee-ta) G.https://www.blogger.com/profile/13471332103238738458noreply@blogger.com
