The amount of time you leave the wine to infuse the herbs would be less than the normal method of putting everything in a glass jar and infusing for two weeks. Possibly because the recipe uses dried herbs and they are using the wine only to soak the herbs in a cold maceration rather than hot water infuses coffee. The recipe comes from an old herbal and was given me by a friend. I have made it, but using the steep for two/three weeks in a jar method. It had a strong, medicinal flavour.Sarah Headhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08975928642943693605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3765060233389739578.post-27232791596455442632013-04-14T10:36:03.619-07:002013-04-14T10:36:03.619-07:00What do mean - pack it all in a coffee machine, an...What do mean - pack it all in a coffee machine, and pour wine over?laura hnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3765060233389739578.post-14001489289334445242013-04-11T09:47:32.006-07:002013-04-11T09:47:32.006-07:00Lovely post, thank you!Lovely post, thank you!Madeleinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09156682025042417872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3765060233389739578.post-12983916616851997592013-03-18T16:09:36.319-07:002013-03-18T16:09:36.319-07:00This is something I have not experimented with as ...This is something I have not experimented with as I really am not much of a drinker..but as a theraputic dose, I think it is high time the experimentation begins!
